Manchester United midfielder gives honest verdict on Leeds United and Bielsa after last night

Manchester United central midfielder Scott McTominay praised Leeds United and their head coach Marcelo Bielsa on Sky Sports Football (6:36pm, December 20, 2020).

McTominay said that Leeds are an amazing team and praised their head coach Bielsa.

The 24-year-old Scotland international midfielder made the comments following United’s 6-2 victory over Leeds at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

The midfielder scored two goals, one in the second minute and the other just moments later, and was arguably the best player on the pitch.

McTominay said on Sky Sports Football (6:36pm, December 20, 2020): “I think everybody knows Leeds as a team, they are an amazing team with an amazing coach. I feel the detail that they go into, both on and off the ball, is high.”

Visitors Leeds had 59% of the possession, took 17 shots of which three were on target, and earned 13 corners, according to BBC Sport.

The result means that United are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 13 matches and will consider themselves as title challengers, while Leeds currently find themselves 14th in the standings with 17 points from 14 games.
