The report in the Portuguese publication has claimed that Manchester United’s offer for Neves is better than the one that Wolves have from Barcelona.
It has been further added that Joao Palhinha is close to leaving Sporting Lisbon for Wolves and is seen as a replacement for Neves, who has been linked with Arsenal as well.
The Daily Mail reported in May that Arsenal are interested in signing Neves from Premier League rivals Wolves in the summer transfer window.
The report added that Wolves value the Portugal international at £70 million.
Gunners need to step up
In our view, if Arsenal are keen on signing Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, then they need to step up their game and make a bid.

Now, Wolves may want £70 million for Neves, but the Gunners could make an offer less than that and see what happens.
