Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has been impressed with Bournemouth trio Callum Wilson, Matt Ritchie and Harry Arter.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has listed in The Independent three Bournemouth players who have impressed him.

Bournemouth will play in the Premier League next season after winning the Championship title this campaign.

“I like the look of Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie,” former England international midfielder Scholes wrote in The Independent.

“Harry Arter looks a good player and both full-backs bomb on. I believe in attacking football and that teams who play that way will get their reward eventually.”

Callum Wilson joined Bournemouth from Coventry City in the summer of 2014 and was one of the best centre-forwards in the Championship this season.

The 23-year-old scored 20 goals and created 62 chances in 45 league appearances, while having a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 51%.

Matt Ritchie

Matt Ritchie was arguably the best right-winger in the Championship this campaign, his pace and tricks enhancing Bournemouth quality of football.

In 46 league appearances for the Cherries, the 25-year-old scored 15 goals and created as many as 98 chances, while having a pass accuracy of 76% and a shot accuracy of 51%.

Harry Arter

Another Bournemouth player who has been sensational, Harry Arter scored nine goals and created 47 chances in 43 Championship appearances.

The 25-year-old has a pass accuracy of 85% and a shot accuracy of 35%, while winning 44 of the 58 dribbles he attempted.
