Manchester United legend Gary Neville could not help put poke fun at Liverpool after his latest trip to Anfield.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville could not help but notice a message painted on one of the walls inside Anfield on his latest trip to Liverpool’s stadium.
The Sky Sports pundit was in the ground for the Manchester United versus Liverpool clash last Monday and spotted the following.
The former England right back could not hold back, mocking Liverpool’s use of present tense, stating that it should read “happened”, rather than “happens”.
The rivalry between United and Liverpool will always be fierce, and winning trophies is what is all about, although league titles have been hard to come by on Merseyside, while the Red Devils went on to eclipse their rivals’ number of top flight crowns.

While Liverpool’s best times are certainly in the distant past, and Manchester United have been the more successful club in the past 20 years, Neville might have to eat his words at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
Jurgen Klopp’s side look like title contenders with their vibrant attacking football, while United are struggling under new boss Jose Mourinho, and the German manager looks more likely to be celebrating at the end of the season than the ‘Special One’.
