The latest Manchester United transfer news, views and rumours.
Louis van Gaal
According to the Guardian, Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal does not want to make any January signings.
The Dutchman has already spent heavily since moving to Old Trafford but the Guardian’s report suggests he is happy with the progress his current squad are making.
That’s despite United’s worst start to a league season since 1986.
Kalidou Koulibaly
However, the Daily Star have still linked United with a January move for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Frenchman can play both as a centre-back and full-back and was frequently linked with a move to Manchester in the past.
Nothing materialised, though, and Koulibaly ended up joining Napoli for £8 million this summer. Van Gaal has reportedly turned his attentions to the 23-year-old, however, according to the Star.
David Moyes
Elsewhere, former Man United boss David Moyes has been confirmed to be in talks with La Liga side Real Sociedad.
The Scot has been out of management since being sacked by the Old Trafford outfit last season and, should he take the job, it would be Moyes’ first venture into Europe.
