The latest news about Manchester United from the last 24 hours.

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has accused Prime Minister David Cameron of double standards via his Twitter account. Ferdinand was reacting after the scenes in Serbia earlier this week when a number of England players were racially abused by Serbian fans, players and officials.

Sir Alex Ferguson could choose to stick with the same side for the match against Stoke that defeated Newcastle United 3-0 away from home after the 3-2 home defeat against Tottenham. It would mean United playing a narrow formation against a big physical side who will be looking to dominate the smaller players.

Fiorentina are interested in signing Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez according to newspaper reports in Italy. The arrival of Robin Van Persie has led to Hernandez being pushed down the pecking order at the club and the Italian side are apparently ready to offer him a way out of Old Trafford should he choose to leave in January.

The cost of the cheapest season ticket at Old Trafford is £18 short of double what it costs for a season ticket at Manchester City. A BBC Sport survey has revealed that United, along with Arsenal, are one of the most expensive clubs to watch in the Premier League. United and Arsenal make more in two home games than Wigan Athletic make in a year.

Chelsea captain John Terry will not play in the up and coming match against Manchester United. Terry was banned by the FA after being found guilty of racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand. It means United do not have to worry about the issue of shaking hands relating to Rio Ferdinand, Anton’s brother, being a key United defender.

Manchester United have been linked with moves for Birmingham youngsters Jack Butland and Nathan Redmond. Birmingham may be forced to sell their young stars to create extra funds at the club with United said to be keen on adding the pair to the youth ranks at Old Trafford.

Manchester United target Arturo Vidal has cast doubt over a move to Manchester stating he is happy at Juventus. Vidal recently secured a move to the Italian giants from the Bundesliga and his performances in midfield are attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Vidal has admitted a United move would be a dream but states he is happy where he is.

Manchester United transfer target James Rodriguez has admitted he would be extremely interested in a move to Real Madrid. United are reported to be monitoring his situation as the attacker has a 45 million Euro release clause in his current contract at Porto real which means the club will sell to any side that can meet the figure. His comments suggest that United may not be his first choice club.
