Radamel Falcao will return to training on Sunday, but Manchester United defenders Phil Jones and Rafael da Silva will sit out the Premier League clash against Arsenal.
Manchester United fans can heave a sign of relief: Radamel Falcao’s injury is not serious.
The Colombia international striker has been ruled out of Saturday’s Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium with a calf injury, but he will return to training on Sunday.
Former Atletico Madrid striker Falcao has not had the best of times so far at United since his move from AS Monaco on a season-long deal in the summer transfer window.
Injuries have impeded the 28-year-old’s progress since the last international break, but it appears that he could return to competitive action by the end of the month.
Meanwhile, Van Gaal has ruled defenders Rafael da Silva and Phil Jones out of the match against Arsenal.
