Will Everton soon be looking for a new manager?

Everton manager Marco Silva is a man under pressure after a terrible start to 2019.
The Toffees face his former club Watford this weekend and a loss would be a terrible look for Silva, with the Hornets already above Everton in the table.
The Mirror report ex-Everton boss Sam Allardyce believes Silva is at risk of being sacked.
If Silva is dismissed then Everton will be back to square one, on the hunt for a new manager.
Everton would be smart to take a look at Manchester United’s post-Jose Mourinho approach.
Rather than looking for a big name to immediately fill the void, they found a manager who knows the club, the fanbase, and what makes it tick.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been an immediate success, unbeaten in 10 games, with nine wins. But it’s not just down to him.
Solskjaer is part of a quartet, with Sir Alex Ferguson’s former assistant Mike Phelan, Michael Carrick, and youth team coach Kieran McKenna.
Everton have a chance to do something similar.
Former Toffees boss Mikel Arteta should be brought in as the main man from Manchester City, supported by coaches already at the club.
Duncan Ferguson and David Unsworth together with Arteta would provide an immediate connection with Everton supporters.
Attracting a ‘big name’ is going to be difficult as Everton have found previously. Stop gaps like Sam Allardyce are no better.
When the Marco Silva experiment is over, it’s time for Everton to try something new, and if Arteta does not want to come, then be even braver and give Ferguson and Unsworth a chance on their own.
