West Ham United are said to be contemplating making an offer for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford in the January transfer window.

Manchester United fans do not seem too opposed to the idea of Marcus Rashford moving on loan to West Ham United.

The Telegraph reported yesterday that West Ham would make an ambitious move to sign the England international in the January transfer window.

The Hammers are determined to increase their striking options, and they see Rashford as the perfect man to lead the line.

The youngster has not played frequently at Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho took charge, and he has failed to hit the back of the net for the last 16 matches.

With United starting to click into gear, it is hard to see Rashford breaking into their starting line-up any time soon.

And Red Devils supporters appear to feel that if West Ham do make an offer for the 18-year-old it would be good for his development.

West Ham have struggled for goals so far this season, with many of their strikers failing to fire.

If Rashford was to move to the Olympic Stadium he would be competing with the likes of Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and Ashley Fletcher for a first-team place up-front.
