Manchester United sold Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton earlier this year.

Morgan Schneiderlin endured a miserable return to Old Trafford on Sunday as his Everton side were crushed 4-0.
The Toffees were well beaten, even though a late blitz from United flattered their performance a little.
Schneiderlin was sold by Jose Mourinho in January after barely featuring in his plans.
A 2015 summer signing under Louis van Gaal from Southampton, Schneiderlin underwhelmed at Old Trafford, and the weekend’s game was no different.
His most telling contribution was a handball late on which gifted the Red Devils a late penalty, converted by his fellow Frenchman and former teammate Anthony Martial.

Everton have had a mixed bag from Schneiderlin so far, but really none of their players are doing themselves any credit at present.
The difference between Schneiderlin and United’s midfield destroyer Nemanja Matic was clear to see.
There is no animosity from United fans towards Schneiderlin, simply a feeling that he is not missed and his time at the club was forgettable.
Here is a look at how supporters reacted to his performance for Everton…
