West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has previously caught the attention of Manchester United according to reports.
West Ham man Rice suggested that he thinks he has the ability to play at Old Trafford in the future.
“Don’t get me wrong, I think I’ve got the ability to play for a club like that,” he said.
“But it’s all about the timing and I don’t think the timing is right for me at all. I’ve still got so much to learn.”
But many Manchester United fans seem to be against the idea of signing Rice at any stage.
Rice has become a central figure at West Ham, where he is now one of Manuel Pellegrini’s most trusted players.
Rice has already reportedly attracted the attentions of United, with the Independent suggesting that the £50 million England international was on the radar of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Rice has continued to impress at West Ham this season, where he has been a mainstay in Pellegrini’s side.
The youngster is now an established member of the Hammers’ starting line-up, and he has starting to make an impact on the international stage too.
Rice is currently with the England team, ahead of their matches against Bulgaria and Kosovo in the coming days.
