Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen’s contract with Mauricio Pochettino’s side expires at the end of the season.

Eriksen still hasn’t penned a new deal at Tottenham, which means that he is free to leave Hotspur Way next summer.
Spurs could be forced to cash in on the attacking midfielder in January, if he hasn’t put pen to paper by then, and it is said that United could go after a cut-price deal for the Danish international.
Eriksen was heavily linked with United over the summer, but no deal materialised.
United fans have now had mixed views over whether they should sanction a move for him in January.
United have lacked a creator already this season, with Jesse Lingard struggling in the most advanced midfield role in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s system.
Eriksen would surely be an upgrade on Lingard, but there are big question marks over whether a move to Old Trafford will appeal.
Tottenham may well feel that they still have a slight chance of convincing Eriksen to stay if they can make a bright start to the campaign too.
Spurs have struggled in the early weeks of the season, but are expected to improve now that the European transfer window has closed and their squad is more settled.
