Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura claims he could have moved to Manchester United in 2018.

Manchester United fans have been left angered, after Tottenham Hotspur’s Lucas Moura has revealed that they missed a chance to sign him.
Lucas moved to Tottenham in January 2018 for a fee of £28 million (London Evening Standard), but he has now revealed to the Guardian that United also wanted him at the time.
The Red Devils had spotted the Brazilian’s potential, but would only offer him a loan move.
“There was a conversation with Manchester United [last summer] but it was for a loan and I didn’t want a loan. I thought that if I left PSG, I didn’t want to go back,” he said.
And United fans are really annoyed that they didn’t push to sign Moura ahead of Tottenham now.
Moura has enjoyed a wonderful campaign at Spurs, and would surely have improved United’s attack if he had moved to Old Trafford.
The lightning quick attacker is one of the major reasons why Tottenham are in the Champions League final this evening.
Moura scored a hat-trick against Ajax in the semi-final to fire Tottenham to Madrid, where they will take on Liverpool.
