Manchester United overcame Watford in a very exciting match on Tuesday evening.

Manchester United secured an important away win against Watford this week, with Jose Mourinho’s side at their free-flowing best for much of the encounter.
The same could be said of the Hornets, who impressed going forward even if they looked very shaky at the back, and so it proved as goals from Ashley Young (2), Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard ensured United went home with all three points.

United’s left-sided wing-back was particularly impressive in part because Mourinho opted to play three centre-backs, with Marcos Rojo coming in for his first league appearance of the season alongside Chris Smalling and the fast-improving Victor Lindelof.
While United shipped two second-half goals in their 4-2 victory, their defenders can be happy with their overall performances, with Lindelof and Rojo in particular looking solid until their late blip.

The Argentine has been out of action since April, but he returned against Benfica in the Champions League earlier this month and now looks set to play a vital role domestically.
