Manchester United are reportedly set to extend Jesse Lingard’s contract at Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans are not happy after hearing that getting Jesse Lingard to sign a new contract has been made a priority.
United also want to get Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood to commit their futures to Old Trafford and that news has gone down well.
However, many supporters are not keen on the idea of Lingard extending his stay.
Lingard has been in poor form over 2019, with the attacking midfielder really struggling to find the back of the net.
Lingard does offer United energy and the ability to press from the front, but there are question marks over his creativity in forward areas.
The 27-year-old’s current deal lasts until 2021, with United having an option to extend if for a further year.
Solskjaer’s men are next in action later today, when they take on Astana.
