Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United yesterday, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side falling to their first defeat of pre-season.
Manchester United fans have slammed Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli’s display against them yesterday.
Tottenham took on United in the International Champions Cup yesterday, and Alli was given 60 minutes by Mauricio Pochettino.
Alli played with a sizeable amount of aggression for a friendly match, but was unable to stop Tottenham falling to a 2-1 defeat.
And United fans have heavily criticised Alli’s performance in the contest.
Alli is actually under pressure at Tottenham, as his form dipped towards the end of last term.
Alli needs to hit the ground running this season otherwise his place in Pochettino’s team could come under significant pressure.
Tottenham’s lost to United yesterday was not the end of the world, as they had a very mixed team out, with a large amount of youngsters featuring.
Lucas Moura’s scored Tottenham’s goal, but United found the net through Anthony Martial and Angel Gomes.
