West Ham United reportedly want Manchester United defender Chris Smalling in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Chris Smalling with a move to West Ham United.
According to Metro, West Ham are interested in signing Smalling from Premier League rivals United in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Hammers are monitoring the situation of the England international at the Red Devils and are ready to make a move for the 28-year-old defender.
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has reportedly been given a £70 million transfer budget for this summer, and the former Manchester City boss is claimed to want two new central defenders.

Smalling, who is valued at €32 million (£28.05m) by the CIES Football Observatory, has been on the books of United since 2010, and has won the Premier League title twice and the Europa League once with the Red Devils.
