Manchester United overcame Crystal Palace with ease this weekend.

Manchester United are becoming synonymous with the 4-0 scoreline this season, and the latest came as they defeated Crystal Palace with ease on Saturday afternoon.
United’s goals came courtesy of Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini (2) and Romelu Lukaku, and there could have been plenty more but for some decent goalkeeping and some wastefulness from the hosts.

While the usual suspects impressed, with Marcus Rashford having one of his best games in a United shirt, full-back Ashley Young also continued his recent resurgence with another great display down the left side.
United have so many left-backs on their books that few would have predicted Young would make the position his own this season. Yet that appears to have happened with the 32-year-old excelling in recent weeks and moving ahead of Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian and the recently recovered Luke Shaw in the pecking order.

Young’s crosses continue to be dangerous now that United’s squad contains considerably more height and this time it was Fellaini who benefited, getting on the end of his teammate’s cross just as Lukaku did against CSKA Moscow earlier this month.
United remain joint top of the Premier League, with only a single goal dividing them and Manchester City with seven matches played.
