Di Maria was the star of the show in Paris in the Champions League, as PSG got the better of Spanish and European giants Madrid 3-0 in Group A.
The 31-year-old Argentina international, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, scored twice for the home team, first in the 14th minute and then on 33 minutes.
The former Madrid star has been superb at PSG, but he struggled during his time at Premier League giants United.
Di Maria played for the Red Devils during the 2014-15 campaign and left for PSG in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £44.3 million.
The Argentine started his tenure at Old Trafford strongly, but he had injury issues and struggled during the second half of the season.
At PSG, Di Maria has been a star, and the 31-year-old has regained the form that he showed when he was at Madrid that promoted United to sign him in 2014.
