It has been reported that the Red Devils’ manager, Jose Mourinho, has identified the Republic of Ireland international as the ideal full-back to join his team.
Mourinho is reportedly not impressed with 26-year-old full-back Matteo Darmian, who has yet to feature in the Premier League for United this season.
Coleman is one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and is a key member of the current Everton team.
The 27-year-old has been on the books of the Merseyside outfit since 2009, and it will be interesting to see if the Toffees are open to the idea of parting company with him in January.
