Manchester United academy product Axel Tuanzebe enjoyed a successful loan spell at Aston Villa last season by helping them earn promotion to the Premier League.
Manchester United fans on Twitter are in meltdown after hearing about Axel Tuaznebe potentially making a switch to Aston Villa this summer.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Dean Smith is looking to bring in the highly-rated centre-back this summer following his successful loan spell at Villa Park last season where he helped the club to promotion.
It is said that Villa are working on a deal and want a permanent transfer with the money mooted to be around the £8million mark.
There’s no doubt that if Villa can seal the transfer of Tuanzebe this summer, and that for such a low price, then it would be such a steal from the Midlands club.
United are currently in repair mode after suffering yet another disastrous season in the Premier League – this time it cost them a place in the Champions League.
Amid their problems, one big issue is how poor their defence is and a player like Tuanzebe could be their shining light if he were to stay on at the club.
During his time at Villa, he impressed one and all with his ability to read the game well, bring the ball out from the back and dominate the opposition attacker when need be.
