Premier League fans were re-acquainted with former Manchester United winger Nani, when the winger started last night for Portugal against England.
Nani signed for United in 2007 and only left the Red Devils last summer, spending the year prior on loan.
Portugal’s Nani during training
He did not have the best of nights for Portugal against England, with his country slipping to a 1-0 loss at Wembley.
It was a big opportunity for the Portugal squad ahead of Euro 2016 to make an impression and show they are not reliant on Cristiano Ronaldo, who was rested after featuring in the Champions League final last weekend.
Nani was one of the players potentially playing for his place in the starting line up at the European Championships, but did not really grasp his chance.

The talented former Sporting Lisbon winger played 60 minutes before he was substituted for Ricardo Quaresma, who also struggled to make an impact.
Nani had one shot at goal, which ended up off target, but did manage to create one chance. He touched the ball only 24 times, which led to a high passing accuracy of 94 per cent, but really did not get on the ball enough to test himself or the England defence.
