It has been reported that the Premier League giants want to recruit France international midfielder Pogba from Italian champions Juventus in the summer transfer window.
However, according to Le10sport.com, if United fail to secure the services of the 23-year-old, then they will try to bring in Sissoko from Championship club Newcastle.
Sissoko has been on the books of the Magpies since 2013 and played well for France at the 2016 European Championship this summer.
