Liverpool have completed the transfer of winger Sadio Mane, announcing the deal via their official website.
Mane signs from Southampton after two impressive seasons at the club, and will hope to quickly establish himself as a key player for Liverpool.
His explosive pace and goalscoring ability makes him an eye catching talent, and for Liverpool it could be a real coup despite the big price tag they paid.

Mane had been linked with a Southampton exit since last summer, but instead of Liverpool it was their rivals Manchester United who appeared favourites. The Mail even claimed they made an attempt to sign the winger back in January.
If he goes on to become a big success at Liverpool it will be a transfer which could really haunt United for not pushing strongly for a deal this summer.

Last season he was more productive than United’s big summer signing the previous year, Memphis Depay, and the Liverpool ace will be fancied to out do the Dutchman once again this coming campaign.
United are pushing ahead with deals of their own to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as they look to build under Jose Mourinho.
Supporters were quick to have their say over Liverpool’s acquisition of Mane, with a mixed range of comments…
