Croatia’s Ivan Perisic celebrates after scoring a goal
Manchester United are reported by The Sun to be eyeing a summer move for Croatian ace Ivan Perisic.
Manager Jose Mourinho was in Zagreb for last night’s World Cup qualifier, in which Perisic started.
The Sun‘s report claims work is ongoing behind the scenes to make Perisic the Red Devils’ first summer signing, with a fee of £35 million quoted.
Perisic turned 28 last month, and the age of player Mourinho should be seeking to recruit if he is determined to win the Premier League title next season.

He is a left winger who fills a need in their squad, potentially giving United an extra weapon to break down defences, with goals tough to come by in home fixtures against smaller teams this season.
Perisic plays for Inter Milan, who are not short of cash themselves after a recent takeover, but could allow him to leave if they can land a high profile target or two of their own.
This season Perisic has netted nine goals and provided three assists in 27 Serie A games, and once played under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund.
