This would be more than double the fee they paid for Romelu Lukaku this summer, with transfer market values rocketing after PSG’s big spending on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
But of course with Lukaku already on board, there are questions whether United need Kane at all, despite his prolific goalscoring ability.

Tottenham Hotspur have repeatedly made clear they have no intention of letting the England international leave, especially for a Premier League rival.
Even £170 million is unlikely to be enough to make chairman Daniel Levy accept, especially after the difficulties the club experienced in replacing Gareth Bale four years ago.
