The talented defender is on a season long loan at the Eagles and was convinced to sign by his compatriot De Boer.
Fosu Mensah has started all four of Palace’s Premier League games and despite suffering four defeats in a row, he has shown real promise.
His form has seen him called into the Dutch international squad and the move has on a personal level been promising, even if his morale being sapped is a concern.
Now Manchester United supporters are concerned about the impact De Boer’s sacking could have on the defender.
Not only could Fosu Mensah potentially see less game time, but he could also be used in a system which becomes detrimental to his development.
While results were not good at Palace, United fans were encouraged by the positive style of football De Boer was trying to implement.
