Manchester United fans respond to Anthony Martial to Tottenham reports.

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is considering leaving Old Trafford, reports from RMC Sport in France claimed yesterday.

Martial has reportedly been frustrated at a lack of regular starts for United – and Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested.

Martial is a real fan favourite at United even if he is often rotated in and out of the team.

It makes sense that Spurs would want a player as talented as the Frenchman, but whether United would willingly sell to a Premier League competitor makes them long shots to land the forward.

Martial scored the winner for United against Tottenham earlier this season at Old Trafford and he could yet damage their season in the upcoming FA Cup semi-final.

While Tottenham fans are understandably hopeful a deal can be done, United supporters have hit back.

Perhaps it’s out of fear that Tottenham could overtake them if they sign Martial, but the comments are very condescending rowards the North London side.

United fans branded their Spurs counterparts ‘deluded’ over their hopes that Martial could make the move.
