Andy Cole has stated that he loves watching Liverpool’s Mo Salah play even if Man United fans might give him ‘flak’ for it, as he told Premier League Productions (12/03/22 at 8:45 pm).

The former Manchester United striker labelled Salah scoring 20+ Premier League goals in four seasons on the bounce as ‘crazy’.

On Saturday, Salah netted his 20th of the campaign when he converted from the spot during his side’s 2-0 win at Brighton.

The damper for the Liverpool faithful may have been the fact that Salah went off with an injury, but he did walk off and he did have a smile on his face at the Amex Stadium.

Nonetheless, when taking his Man United hat off, Premier League legend Cole had nothing but high praise for the Egyptian flyer from Merseyside.

On 20+ PL goals during the past four seasons for Salah: “Crazy. Crazy again,” said Cole. “The past four seasons!

“I’m not going to lie, I love watching him play. I know he plays for Liverpool. Man United fans might give me flak, but that is quality.

“He is a quality player. I think he is a team player. Works extremely hard. Creates and scores goals.

“When you are doing that four seasons on the bounce, 20 goals, just pay him. Pay him what he wants because he is that good.”

The burning question is, will Salah sign a new contract at Arsenal? Or will he leave this summer?

The 29-year-old’s contract at Anfield runs out next summer, so do Liverpool stick with the player, and risk losing him for nothing in 2023?

Or do they sell him off with 12-months remaining of his contract, if he doesn’t sign on the dotted line?

To make it simpler for all Liverpool fans, if he puts his ink on the paper, then it will be a relief for all.

But, at this moment in time, it’s not looking good, although, there is still a long way to go and the situation can change.
