Manchester United supporters really do not want Tottenham Hotspur to sign Anthony Martial this summer.

Manchester United fans do not want Jose Mourinho to swap Anthony Martial with Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld.

The Daily Express have suggested that a potential trade of the two players could happen this summer, between Spurs and United.

But Red Devils supporters are concerned that they would be the losers in the potential deal with Tottenham, if they did lose Martial.

Alderweireld is high up on United’s list of targets this summer, and the Belgian is expected to leave Spurs.

Alderweireld’s contract at Tottenham expires at the end of next season, meaning Mauricio Pochettino’s side need to cash in on him this summer.

Tottenham, though, are big admirers of Martial – which complicates the deal.

Pochettino is thought to be keen on bringing Martial to Spurs, and the London side could insist that the Frenchman is included in any deal.

Whether United will sanction the move remains to be seen, but the transfer saga promises to be one of the more intriguing potential deals of the summer.
