Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek may find it difficult to move to Newcastle United amid alleged agency problems.
The Mirror report that Van de Beek moved away from agent Guido Albers in October after a move to Everton fell through.
Van de Beek now wants to work with Ali Dursun instead. Dursun also represents Barcelona star Frankie de Jong.
However, it’s claimed that Albers is refusing to allow Van de Beek out of a binding agreement they reached 18 months ago.
Dursun allegedly can’t work on a deal without Albers’ permission, and one source claims that it looks unlikely that Van de Beek will be allowed to leave.
What a mess this is becoming for Van de Beek.
Once a star at Ajax with 40 goals in his final three seasons with the club, Van de Beek has barely featured for United.
Even a change of manager hasn’t helped, with Ralf Rangnick so far reluctant to utilise Van de Beek.

The Mirror’s report claims that Newcastle were hoping to sign Van de Beek, but that now doesn’t look like due to this agency issue.
Van de Beek needs to be playing. It looks like his United fortunes aren’t going to change any time soon, and he may be regretting his situation with Albers.
Newcastle may still have a glimmer of hope here, but it sounds like a deal for Van de Beek will be very difficult this month.
