Manchester United won 3-1 against West Ham at Old Trafford today.
Manchester United’s revival continued this afternoon with a 3-1 win at home to West Ham United.
Danny Welbeck is going through a renaissance of his own, and he opened the scoring with his fifth goal of the season in the 26th minute.
That strike was followed 10 minutes later by a goal from Adnan Januzaj – his first in front of his home fans.
Ashley Young replaced the Belgian in the second half, and it was the England winger who made it three with a curled effort with 12 minutes of normal-time remaining.
Another substitute, Carlton Cole, scored a consolation goal for West Ham after breaking clear, but that was as good as it got for the visitors.
The result means United are now seventh in the Premier League – five points outside the top four – while West Ham are just a point outside the relegation zone.
