Spanish juggernauts Real Madrid have their eyes set on one Manchester United player ahead of the winter transfer window.
With the winter transfer window right around the corner, the football rumour mill is full of some major moves shaping up teams.
One club that is interested in adding a key player from Manchester United to their squad is none other than Real Madrid.
Los Blancos are currently just four points behind FC Barcelona in the La Liga standings, and the Spanish giants plan to improve their defence in the upcoming transfer window.

Real Madrid have eyes set on Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot
This past summer, Real Madrid made headlines after signing Trent Alexander-Arnold for just £10m from Liverpool.
However, according to Graeme Bailey of TEAMTalk, the 36-time La Liga champions want to further bolster their right back position with the addition of United’s Diogo Dalot.
More importantly, Man Utd’s director of football, Jason Wilcox, is reportedly ‘considering’ the transfer.
“Real Madrid are interested in a 2026 deal for Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot, with sources telling that the Red Devils’ director of football, Jason Wilcox, is considering selling the Portugal international,” Bailey reported.
He added: “We can confirm Dalot’s long-term future is being discussed internally by Man Utd… Real Madrid hold a long-term interest in Dalot.”
With Dalot’s current deal set to expire in 2028, the Red Devils have plenty of time to make a good decision about the Portuguese defender’s future at Old Trafford.
Atletico Madrid and FC Bayern Munich are also ‘fans’ of Diogo Dalot
Ruben Amorim’s insistence on using a 3-4-2-1 formation has demoted Dalot to a bench role.
As a result, it’s no surprise that the 26-year-old is garnering interest from around the globe. Speaking of which, Real Madrid are set to face some competition for the services of Dalot, per Bailey.
“Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are also fans of the 26-year-old Portugal international,” Bailey stated.
Either way, it seems Dalot’s days with the Red Devils will end sooner rather than later. Dalot has 4 goals and 12 assists to go with 30 clean sheets and 33 blocked shots throughout his career with United.
