Manchester United boss says West Ham are building an impressive squad.
United play the Hammers on the opening weekend of the season, and Mourinho feels Slaven Bilic is building a good squad.
Mourinho expressed his admiration for West Ham new boy Javier Hernandez last season, but he believes their transfer business is more than just the Mexican.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Javier Hernandez is set to sign for West Ham
The United boss says he is expected the Red Devils’ recruitment to improve, with only Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku signed so far.
He said: “We need a bit more when you see the other teams in the Premier League, like Man City, Liverpool and West Ham, the way they get players, good players, important players.
“The champions have bought three fantastic experienced players. I am thinking about West Ham for the first match of the Premier League.
“They have got Joe Hart, Chicharito and Arnautovic. It looks like they are playing to win the Premier League too. The teams are fantastic in the market. I am waiting for a bit more.”

Hernandez won two league titles at Manchester United – and fans have been expressing their fear he will score against them on his debut.
Both Joe Hart and Marko Arnautovic have helped Manchester City and Stoke to victories over United in the past too, and the clash at Old Trafford will be far from straightforward for Mourinho’s men.
