Jamie Redknapp believes it may now be time for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford to try something different amid rumours linking him with Arsenal.
Rashford was only a substitute for Manchester United against Manchester City on Sunday despite there being no recognised striker on the pitch.
Ralf Rangnick went with Bruno Fernandes in something of a false nine role, only bringing Rashford on as a second-half substitute.
Rashford made next to no impact, leaving some to wonder just what the future holds for him at Old Trafford.
90Min now claim that Arsenal, West Ham United and Newcastle United are all waiting in the wings with Rashford considering his future.
United would surely demand a high price for their homegrown attacker, but clubs seemingly have hope that he will move on.
Arsenal may even be able to give Rashford playing time as a striker, with Mikel Arteta desperate for new attacking options this summer.
Newcastle have huge money to throw at any signing, but West Ham may find it difficult to compete with the other two in the race.
Branded ‘unplayable’ by Luis Saha, Rashford hasn’t been at his best this season and a fresh start may be needed.
That would be a bold step from Rashford, who was born and bred in Manchester and hasn’t played for any other club side than United.

Yet with the World Cup on the horizon, Rashford is in danger of missing out on a spot in the England squad and needs to find top form – whether that is with United or elsewhere.
Now, pundit Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that he thinks the time may be right for Rashford to up sticks and leave United this summer.
Redknapp believes being left on the bench against City should be the signal for Rashford to seek an exit, feeling it’s time for a change something that could give Arsenal and Newcastle real hope of a deal.
“I look at Marcus Rashford right now, if I was him, I’d be thinking… if you’re not getting in a game like this, I’d be looking to go as well, and it might be the best thing for him, maybe to have a change,” he added.
