The Manchester City youngster could thrive at Liverpool.
The Jürgen Klopp revolution is well underway at Anfield, as he continues to bring in players with the attributes required to perform to the necessary levels that are conducive to his high-intensity pressing philosophy.
As his rebuild continues, it is looking more and more likely that Daniel Sturridge does not fit into the German’s plans, and if he leaves the Reds this summer, it will be vitally important for Klopp to bring in another striker.
Liverpool have been linked with a mega money move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with French media outlet Le Parisien claiming they are willing to pay up to £61 million to secure his signature.
There is a cheaper alternative out there though – Manchester city striker Kelechi Iheanacho, who is valued at £25 million by Pep Guardiola, according to the Telegraph.

Whilst the Gabon international is most definitely the more ready-made option, he is eight years older than the Nigerian, and signing hm for £36 million more would seem a little wasteful, especially when Iheanacho’s raw talent is considered.
The 20-year-old City star has bags of pace at his disposal, and has always proven his willingness to put in a shift for the team – something of a prerequisite for a Klopp signing.
The fact that he is left-footed would also help fill the void left behind by Sturridge, if he does leave of course.
The Nigerian is now at the age where he needs regular first-team football in order to fulfil his potential, and he is unlikely to be offered that with Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus ahead of him in the pecking order at the Etihad.
Iheanacho is an out and out striker, who does the majority of his best work in and around the 18-yard box, and that is arguably what Liverpool are mostly in need of.
The signing of Aubameyang from Dortmund would undoubtedly be a blockbuster one, but is he actually what the Reds need?
Liverpool fans might not be as excited now by the prospect of signing the Man City hitman instead, but it could be a deal that is made to look very shrewd in years to come.
