Manchester City willing to sell Tottenham target Raheem Sterling to Chelsea
The Guardian have reported that Chelsea are planning to bid for Sterling, and that Premier League rivals Manchester City are willing to do a deal.
The former Liverpool star, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, himself is keen on a move to the Blues, according to the report.
This will come as a blow for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, who have been linked with the £300,000-a-week (Spotrac) England international.
Earlier this month, The Mirror reported that Tottenham are interested in Sterling.

Spurs transfer unlikely
In our view, it was always unlikely that Tottenham Hotspur would be able to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City ahead of Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Yes, Tottenham will play in the UEFA Champions League next season and have a world-class manager in Antonio Conte, but they do not win the Premier League title or other major trophies like Chelsea do.
Chelsea regularly compete for the Premier League title and won the UEFA Champions League in 2021.
