Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has dismissed rumours linking him to Real Madrid.
Sergio Aguero says he is ‘very happy’ at Manchester City and has no plans of ditching the club for Spanish giants Real Madrid any time soon, according to an interview he gave to ESPN FC Radio, published by Talk Sport.
The Argentine striker was linked with Real Madrid after being left out of the City starting line-up for the Everton and Barcelona fixtures.
Aguero has again suffered injury problems this season but he has scored 14 goals in 15 appearances so far this season, continuing his fine reputation for finding the net.

The 28-year-old told ESPN Radio: “There’s long been rumours about Real Madrid but the truth is that I’m very happy at City, especially with the arrival of Pep.
“He’s helping me a lot to grow as a player and we speak a lot.”
Aguero has been at the Etihad Stadium since 2011 after joining Manchester City from Atletico Madrid for big money. The striker has scored 110 league goals in 159 Premier League appearances and he’s hoping to continue to add to that record.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola
Pep Guardiola also wants his star striker to stick around, last month he called the 28-year-old a ‘star player’ who he hopes can ‘stay for a long time’.
Aguero talked about his happiness at Manchester City and where he will finish his career. He added: “After the last game with Argentina, I wasn’t in a great mood because of the defeat.

“I was down on myself. The first few days afterwards I was very down and to be honest Pep helped me quite a lot.
“I’m happy for how things are currently going for me at the club. I’m happy at City and I hope to finish my contract and return to Independiente.”
