Pep Guardiola is expected to be extremely active during this summer’s transfer window, as he looks to mount a more sustained challenge for the Premier League title next season, but a move for the 30-year-old England international would be a shock to say the least.

Vardy was sensational when Leicester won the league title in the 2015/16 season, scoring 24 Premier League goals. His performance levels dipped this season, however, as his side struggled to match their incredible efforts from the previous campaign.
He still managed to score 13 league goals though, and could be a useful asset for City, with his penchant for making selfless runs behind the opposition defence into the channels.

SkyBET reckon that there is certainly a possibility he will be plying his trade at the Etihad next term, making City the 9/2 favourites to win the race for his signature, ahead of Everton at 10/1.
The pacey striker is under contract at the King Power Stadium for another three years, so he will obviously command a fairly hefty transfer fee, but with City’s wealth, they will easily be able to meet the Foxes’ valuation of the England man…if they genuinely want to sign him.
