Back in March, Calciomercato.com reported of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City’s interest in Rafael Leao of Sporting Lisbon.

Leao is 19 years of age and is one of the most promising young forwards in Europe.

The Portugal Under-21 international forward is destined for great things in the future, and it did not come as a surprise that Premier League duo Tottenham and City are interested in the teenager.

Manchester City make move

However, Tottenham could be about to miss out on the youngster, with Pep Guardiola’s City reported to have made their move for the 19-year-old.

According to The Times, the Premier League champions have offered personal terms to Leao, who is reported to be a free agent at the time after rescinding his contract at Sporting.
