Manchester City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov scored a free kick to help Serbia to a 1-1 friendly draw against France.
France had led through a strike from former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
However, Kolarov scored past Hugo Lloris from 25-yards meaning France couldn’t follow up their win against Spain.
Manchester City midfielder David Silva says Spain’s ‘tiki-taka’ style of football isn’t dead.
Spain underperformed at the World Cup and were promptly beaten by France in a friendly last week.
“We’ve won a lot like this (using this style) and Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas and many of us are used to it, I believe we should go on with it,” said Silva.
Manchester City have reportedly started plans over a deal to sign Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund.
The Star claims City are keen on the German, who has a £25 million release clause.
Reus has been heavily linked with moves to Arsenal and Manchester United throughout the summer.
