Manchester City could be in danger of losing Julian Alvarez with some of Europe’s elite chasing his signature ahead of the summer transfer window.
That’s according to 90Min, who claim that Alvarez is actually growing unhappy with his playing time at the Etihad Stadium.
It’s stated that Alvarez doesn’t see himself getting more playing time soon and is considering his future.
City want to keep Alvarez and are offering him a new contract but the concerns over his role at the club are lingering.
Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be interested in Alvarez if he does push for a move away.
City will of course demand a high price for Alvarez but Pep Guardiola has shown before that he will sell players if they’re not happy.
Alvarez only joined City from River Plate last summer but may have one eye on another move already.

Losing Julian Alvarez would be gut punch for Manchester City
It was always going to be hard for City to promise Alvarez major game time.
Erling Haaland is one of the top strikers in the world and leaving him out regularly just isn’t going to happen.
That means Alvarez is on the bench more often than not and he has started just six Premier League games.
Alvarez is an enormous talent though and has been tabbed as a new Sergio Aguero for City by Haaland himself.
Alvarez, 23, has still managed 10 goals and three assists this season despite his somewhat limited role.
Going from being the star man at River Plate to settling for a backup role at City can’t be easy for Alvarez.
The prospect of joining up with Lionel Messi at PSG must appeal after winning the World Cup together for Argentina but Alvarez would risk playing second-fiddle to Kylian Mbappe.
We would advise Alvarez to stay at City just a little longer, even if a new contract maybe isn’t in his plans right now.
