Joao Cancelo is already a little ‘frustrated’ with his role at Bayern Munich amid links with a summer move to Chelsea.
The Manchester City defender was surprisingly offloaded in January as Cancelo was allowed join Bayern on loan until the end of the season.
Cancelo had struggled to recapture his top form after a disappointing World Cup and Pep Guardiola decided he could move on.
Bayern have the option to turn Cancelo’s loan deal into a permanent one for around €70million (£62million).
However, Cancelo is already frustrated according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.
It’s suggested that Cancelo isn’t kicking up a fuss but he isn’t exactly with his role in the Bayern squad right now.
Cancelo has started two Bundesliga games and come off the bench in another two.
The 28-year-old is set to be on the bench against Paris Saint-Germain tonight as Bayern want to play with wing backs and don’t think Cancelo is right for that system.

Chelsea may have hope of Joao Cancelo deal
This may well be of interest to Chelsea, who have been linked with a move to sign Cancelo.
90Min reported in February that Chelsea are monitoring Cancelo’s situation ahead of a possible summer move.
Chelsea have invested big money in full backs over the years as Marc Cucurella and Ben Chilwell have arrived.
A right back to compete with Reece James has been wanted for a while and Chelsea would have the cash to sign Cancelo.
Whether Cancelo would be happy with just being competition at right and left back remains to be seen though.
It’s clear that Cancelo isn’t all that happy with his Bayern role and he would expect to be starring with his next club.
Chelsea will now need to weigh up whether they can offer that as Cancelo’s future appears very unclear heading towards the summer.
