Tottenham Hotspur will receive a bid from Manchester City for Harry Kane, according to The Daily Star.

What’s the story?

Premier League champions City reportedly want to sign Kane from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

Pep Guardiola’s side will make a bid of £100 million for the England international striker after the Euro 2020 finals next month.

That will be the one and only bid from City.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will then have to decide whether to take the offer or turn it down.

Levy reportedly wants £150 million as transfer fee for the 27-year-old.

Big decision for Daniel Levy

It seems that Spurs chairman Levy will be given an ultimatum.

It will be quite a tricky decision for the Tottenham chief.

£100 million is a lot of money, but it is well short of the £150 million that Spurs want.

Tottenham will have to consider Kane’s wishes as well.

The striker reportedly told Spurs last month that he wants to leave this summer.

There is no point in keeping a player who wants to leave.

However, you get the impression that if Kane has to stay at Spurs, he will be professional and do his best on the pitch.
