Manchester City are already lining up a summer move to sign Fulham defender Antonee Robinson at the end of the season.

That’s according to The Sun, who claim that Robinson is one of City’s priorities ahead of the summer transfer window.

We’re only just hours out from the January window but some clubs may already have one eye on the summer.

It’s suggested that City want to return with a £20million offer to sign Robinson at the end of the season.

City allegedly enquired into signing Robinson as they allowed Joao Cancelo to leave in a shock move to Bayern Munich.

City didn’t make a firm bid ahead of the deadline, no doubt knowing that Fulham would be reluctant to sell.

Yet City may have another go in the summer when there is more time to negotiate and for Fulham to find a replacement.

Antonee Robinson to Manchester City would be another blow for Everton

The final stages of the transfer window felt like the joke was on Everton.

The Toffees were frantically calling around clubs in search of a new striker but kept being snubbed.

The deadline passed without a new attacker being added even after selling Anthony Gordon and new boss Sean Dyche is up against it.

Everton fans hardly need a story to make things seem worse but they may well do with Robinson now a wanted man.

Robinson spent 11 years in the Everton ranks but never made a first-team appearance for the club and was sold to Wigan for just £2million in 2019.

Fulham pounced to land him just a year later and the 25-year-old has been a key player ever since.

A United States international who was clocked at a faster top speed than Kylian Mbappe during the World Cup, Robinson is a quality left back with the pace to cause problems going forward whilst being strong defensively.

Everton would love to have a player like that right now and seeing him join City just four years after the Toffees let him go would really sting.
