Kyle Walker is a Premier League champion after swapping Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester City.

Kyle Walker spent last night celebrating becoming a Premier League champion for the very first time.
The England international played a key role in Manchester City’s title win, making 30 appearances and providing six assists so far.
He controversially quit Tottenham Hotspur last summer after nearly a decade in North London.
Walker’s spell at Spurs was a success in that it saw him develop into a household name and England regular, but he felt he needed to take the next step to further his career.

Spurs hoped Walker’s departure is just a one-off. It may not be.
Walker becoming a league champion in his first season will not be lost on Spurs’ players, particularly Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld who are known to be disgruntled with their pay.

Walker netted a large pay rise after quitting Spurs, and has become a league champion in the process.
He did so by helping City to their second league win of the season over Tottenham yesterday, winning 3-1 after a 4-1 victory earlier in the campaign.
City fans are delighted with Walker and last night took to Twitter to mock ‘nearly men’ Tottenham and toast the way their club has allowed the defender to achieve his dreams…
