Manchester City are glad to see Manuel Pellegrini back in the Premier League with West Ham.

Manchester City fans are glad to see Manuel Pellegrini back in the Premier League with West Ham.
Pellegrini was appointed by the Hammers earlier today, bringing a swift end to their quest to replace David Moyes, who left his post just last week.

Pellegrini was managing in China before ending his contract in the Far East last week.
The Chilean has experience managing Real Madrid and crucially in the Premier League with City, where he won the Premier League title in 2013/14.
He was eventually moved aside for Pep Guardiola, but he commanded respect with his achievements and his approach in Manchester and is still held in high regard.
Pellegrini will need financial backing but he also has the contacts from years in the game and to be able to pull in quality transfers on a budget.
West Ham finished in 13th this past season and under Pellegrini they should be aiming for a top 10 finish.
The comments from Manchester City fans have to be taken as encouraging by West Ham supporters and a very interesting season lies ahead at the London Stadium.
