Manchester City fans have seen Phil Foden really kick on this season, becoming a key man for Pep Guardiola.
Foden has long been touted as City’s next big thing, but he has been a fleeting starter for Guadiola despite his potential.
This season though, Foden has taken a real step forward, giving Guardiola a versatile option following the exits of Leroy Sane and David Silva.
Foden now has nine goals and five assists in 27 appearances for City in all competitions this season, proving to be a top talent.
The 20-year-old has been on the books at City since the age of just four, and grew up supporting the club having been born in nearby Stockport.
It’s reasonable to assume that City will want Foden to be a one-club man over the course of his career, and the midfielder seemingly wants that too.

Foden has told BBC Sport that he would love to spend his whole career with City and can’t even imagine playing for anyone else – especially as he supports the club.
Fans have been taking to Twitter to respond, suggesting that he will be a Premier League great for years to come and simply has blue blood in his veins, showing how much he loves the club.
