Manchester City picked up another win on Sunday night, hammering Crystal Palace 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

City saw Liverpool draw 0-0 with Manchester United, and reminded people that they are very much still a threat for the title with a convincing win.

Kevin De Bruyne produced a stunning assist to set up John Stones for the opener, before Ilkay Gundogan hammered in a superb second.

Stones added a third with his brace, before Raheem Sterling converted a free kick to give City a comfortable 4-0 win over the Eagles.

City now sit just two points behind leaders United whilst having a game in hand, racking up seven wins in their last nine Premier League games.

A number of players starred in the win, and midfielder Gundogan continued his fine form with a composed performance and a goal full of technique.

The 30-year-old has now bagged four goals in 12 Premier League games this season, providing a real goal threat for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Fans have been hailing Gundogan on Twitter, even offering cheeky comments that he is proving that he is better than Liverpool star Thiago.

Others called Gundogan ‘world class’, ‘unbelievable’ and ‘very underrated’, praising the German after some criticism in recent times.
