Arsenal suffered defeat once again on Sunday, losing 1-0 to Burnley as Mikel Arteta’s struggles continue.
Just where does he go from here? The Gunners look susceptible at the back and devoid of ideas going forward, so January additions may well be needed.
A surprise name has emerged in recent days though, as The Sun claim that Arteta wants to reunite with Manchester City defender Eric Garcia.
It’s claimed that Arteta wants to rival his former club Barcelona for the signing of Garcia, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Barca are still favourites to re-sign Garcia, but Arteta seemingly wants to try his luck at a cut-price January deal for his fellow Spaniard.
With questions over William Saliba’s future, Arsenal may still be in the market for a right-footed centre back to partner Gabriel Magalhaes in the long-term – and Garcia fits that bill.

The 19-year-old has played 28 first-team games for City as well as picking up four caps for Spain, and a January move may well be on the cards – whether that’s back to Catalunya or reuniting with his former City coach Arteta.
City fans have been reacting on Twitter to these rumours, with a number of supporters hoping that Arsenal take him as they feel he just isn’t good enough.
Pep Guardiola already has John Stones, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake and Aymeric Laporte, so fans don’t seem all that fussed about the prospect of Garcia joining Arsenal, and feel he could actually make them even weaker.
